How do I use the Dishwash Powder and Tablets?

• Tablets: Place one tablet into your dishwasher’s dry dispenser drawer. If it’s a snug fit, simply nestle it in the bottom rack or the floor of the machine.

• Powder: Use 1–2 tablespoons (depending on your load size) directly into the dispenser drawer.

Is your formula safe for my family and septic tank? Absolutely! We have evolved to a modern, Oxygen-Based cleaning system. Our products are 100% biodegradable, phosphate-free, and septic-safe. We are moving away from older mineral styles to ensure our products are as gentle on the planet as they are on your dishes.

Performance & Troubleshooting

Why did you remove Citric Acid from the powder? To keep your powder free-flowing! Citric acid is a "moisture magnet" in loose powder, which causes it to clump in the New Zealand humidity. By removing it, we’ve ensured your powder stays easy to scoop without losing any cleaning power.

My glasses look a bit cloudy—what should I do? Because we don’t use synthetic "sheeting agents," we highly recommend using plain white vinegar in your dishwasher’s rinse-aid compartment. It’s an affordable, natural way to neutralize hard water minerals and leave your glassware sparkling streak-free!

Care & Storage

How should I store my Maeve&Co products? Our active minerals are concentrated and moisture-sensitive. To keep them at their best:

• Seal it tight: Always zip the bag closed immediately after use.

• Keep it dry: Store in a cool, dry cupboard away from steam.

• Keep it safe: Like all cleaning products, keep out of reach of children and pets.

What if it gets in my eyes or is swallowed? While our ingredients are eco-friendly, they are concentrated minerals.

• Swallowed: Do not induce vomiting. Drink water and call the National Poisons Centre (0800 764 766).

• Eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes.

3. Bath Salts Safety (Epsom Salt & Oils)

• Slippery Surfaces: The Organic Fractionated Coconut Oil in our salts may make the bath and floor slippery. Use extreme caution when entering/exiting the tub. Rinse the bath thoroughly after use.

• External Use Only: Do not ingest. Do not use on broken, irritated, or freshly shaven skin.

4. Insect Balm Use (Eucalyptus & Coconut Oil)

• External Use Only: Avoid contact with eyes and sensitive mucous membranes.

• Not a Repellent: Our balm is intended to deter insects with its natural aroma. It is not a registered repellent or pesticide, and we make no claims regarding effectiveness against specific insects or diseases.

• Temperature Sensitivity: The Coconut Oil base may liquefy in warmth. Store in a cool place to maintain a solid consistency.
